Crazy Photo Fun

Gracie and her beloved cousin, Amanda, had a little photo fun at her house yesterday. Hubby and I got in on the action. It started like this...

See, just like I said. Lots and lots of photo fun!

We had a great weekend celebrating my 29th birthday. My last year being a twenty-something. Should I go buy a sports car??? I spent Friday, my actual birthday, in Sioux Falls with my mom, grandma, and the girls. We had a fun day shopping and taking pictures with the Easter bunny. Friday night when we got home Hubby had my presents wrapped and laid on the counter with a bottle of wine. After the girls went to be he surprised me again with a movie he had rented. Sunday we celebrated at my sister-in-law's house, with a party for Jessi and me. Let me just say there was lots, and lots, and lots of chocolate cake. THANK YOU, Jessi and Jiwoo! The left-overs won't be left-over for long in my refrigerator. It was a fabulous birthday.

Birthday Wishes

Just needed to say to anyone who was willing to listen that it's been one of those days. *SIGH*

I'd like to close my eyes this very second and wake up to tomorrow, but instead I'm going to remind myself that this is the day the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it, right after I find myself an Excedrin.

AND, it's our niece's birthday today! Happy Birthday, Jessi! We love you.

First Meeting for Good News Club

Yesterday afternoon was the first meeting for Good News Club. It went very well and we ended up with 12 kids. They ate a lot, listened well to the story of St. Patrick, and enjoyed doing a craft about the trinity. They also learned the memory verse, "I thought on my ways and turned to your testimonies." Psalm 119:59

I'm praying they will all come back next week! Gracie really enjoyed herself, although it's somewhat distracting to have your mom there with you!

Geocaching Blood Hounds

Today we went geocaching in Yankton. It was our first time out and it was actually a lot of fun. We couldn't have asked for a better day to be outside!

All in all, a very busy but fun day. I think it's pretty safe to say that we will be geocaching again someday soon. We're going to call ourselves the geocaching blood hounds.

Should have left it at 30 girl.

"Like when your 30 or 70."

I think I get it. I'm as tall as you are when you're 30 or 70, duh!

"Snuggle Gracie."

"She does chores."

"I don't know."

Obviously not the same clothes, because I haven't been a size 4 since forever, rather, the same style or color of clothes, like we both wear jeans, or capris, or a pink shirt :)

"Cause you always say it."

Well, I'm on a milk run. Gracie just asked me, "where's my O.M.E. milk, mom." With all the girl attitude she could muster. LOL.
