Slip 'N Slide

Today Gracie bought a slip and slide with the money she got from pre-school graduation. Here are the girls this afternoon, trying it out with one of their friends.

Great Plains Zoo

Last Tuesday we went to the Zoo with two of my friends and all of our crazy kids. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of work keeping track of 8 kids.

Happy 2 Month Birthday, Irelynn!

At two months old, this is Irelynn's favorite place to sleep. As I type this, she's been sleeping in it for three hours. Now why can't she do that in her crib at night? I apologize for the off-centered picture, but I took it with my camera's sports setting while the swing was on. Because you never wake a sleeping baby, right!?

At two months old, baby girl is weighing in at 10 lbs. and is 22 inches long! She has reached all the milestones she's supposed to, and is growing well.

After we took pictures and Gracie's was done opening cards and gifts, we headed off to the ceremony. Here is her class in their caps (Gracie is 2nd from the right)...

She was very proud to hold the flag for the Pledge of Allegiance...

Singing songs they learned throughout the year (Gracie is still 2nd from the right). One of the songs they sang was "You Are My Sunshine," which was my dad and the girls' special song. It always seems to pop up in some way at special events. Hmmm... God's just cool like that.
