Last weekend we took a road trip to the children's museum in Brookings. We shopped in Sioux Falls on Friday, got a hotel room for the night and went swimming, spent Saturday at the museum, ate at Carnaval Brazilian Grill (where we'd never been before, yummy!) on Saturday night, and then went home and slept in our own beds that night!

Grocery shopping...

Learning about crops and how they make it to our stores...

Gathering eggs...
Irelynn doing some Native American dancing. It was at the museum that we noticed she was really starting to take lots of steps...

Learning about buildings and earthquakes...
Gracie showing off how brave she is in front of the T-Rex...

Playing outside with water. Will the water flow faster through the rocks or the sand???

This cracked us up!
Irelynn just lounging in her stroller...

Postwoman Gracie (this was Gracie's favorite place to play)...

Ella making Dad a sandwich in the cafe...
Irelynn found a comfy spot to read...

Putting on a show...
Can you see them on the TV screen???
Irelynn making a new friend...

Good times at the museum...

Painting on the window (the spray bottle was Ella's favorite)...
