Soapable

Tonight the girls asked to play in the bath tub after playing out in the snow, so they could warm up of course. When I went to get them out, the rug in front of the bath tub was soaking wet and there was water all over the floor.

Gracie said to me, "Mom, Ella did it, I'm telling the truth!"

Ella said to me, "No mom, Gracie do it, me truth!"

Hmmm. Interesting. Next they'll be blaming it on the dog.

After their bath I let them draw with markers (because I'm a slow learner) at the counter while I was making dinner. Gracie traced her hand with a purple marker and Ella's feet with a pink marker. She pointed to the bubbles on the box and said, "Don't worry, mom, look, they're soapable!"
